From 17 to 22 May, Kyiv hosted the Ukrainian Art Week painting exhibition. As tradition dictates, the exhibition was held at the Central House of Artists in Kyiv.
I took part in this exhibition too, with my painting:

As is usual in competitions like this, there was first a selection round, with photos of the works sent to the jury, and only after that were the paintings themselves accepted for the exhibition.
This was already the 14th Ukraine Art Week exhibition, but for me it was the first time working with them. Below is a short photo report for those who didn’t make it to the exhibition while it was on.

There was also an exhibition of photographs — works with deep meaning that you could look at for a long time:

I think the most impressive work at the exhibition was a large panel of a chameleon on a black background, made from tiny beads. It left no one indifferent, me included.

As always, the finale was the presentation of diplomas to all the artists.

Thank you to the organisers and to everyone who visited the exhibition.
